Six rooms · Two blocks from the harbor

An unhurried inn on the Maine coast.

A wraparound porch built in 1898, a kitchen that smells like brown butter at 8 a.m., and a black lab named Biscuit who will absolutely escort you to your room.

Our Story

Two innkeepers, one stubborn old house, and a lot of blueberries.

We bought the house in 2014 from a retired sea captain who insisted we keep the porch swing. We did. We also kept the cast-iron tub on the third floor, the original mantle in the parlor, and the slightly crooked door to room four.

Breakfast is served family-style at 8:30. Coffee starts at 7. Wine and a small cheese plate appear on the porch around 5, weather permitting.
